Biography
Elsa is a Bible student and teacher. At an early age she read and memorized the Scripture and when she was thirteen she taught a beginner class in Sunday School. In 1950, she graduated from South Eastern Bible Institute In Lakeland Florida. While raising her one son, she continued to study and teach the Bible.
When she was widowed in 1998, she began a spiritual quest of studying the Bible and seeking God's direction for the future. Her study and prayer lead to the writing of her first book, Diabolos and the Master.
She is a member of the Purvis United Methodist Church where she teaches an adult Bible class. She is a member of Christian Writers Fellowship International, Painted Rock writers research group, the local Hattiesburg Area Writers Group, and Toastmasters International.
She graduated from CLASS, which is training for Christian writers and speakers.
Future Projects
There will be two more books. The second will be When Shall These Things Be, which will be an enhanced
historical of the first century Roman world and will cover the years from 30 AD through 70 AD. The third book will
be fiction on the life of Onesimus, the runaway slave in the book of Philemon.
Other Interests
She has studied art and has a beautiful variety of finished oil-on-canvas paintings which are available for sale.
